Safety in the Clinic
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, single-use, sterile needles at specific points in on the body. Acupuncture is generally considered to be very safe, however some side effects can be experienced. Please refer to our informed consent form for additional information about potential acupuncture side effects.
We follow the official policies of CDC, CDPHE and OSHA to direct our response to Covid-19 infections.
Masks are optional, however, are encouraged when illness levels in the community are high.
Acupuncturists wash/disinfect their hands in between treating patients and touching surfaces.
Air purification is in use during clinic hours.
Please do not come to acupuncture if:
You have had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100°F or above.
You have had any NEW/acute respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath.
You have been in close contact with anyone in the past week who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms.
